Intramural Sports

The purpose of the Intramural sports program is to provide a quality offering of organized sports to the MUSC community that delivers a healthy environment and an opportunity to develop and refine transferable skills sets that are vital to today’s healthcare professionals. 

The MUSC Wellness Center sponsors several opportunities to play sports both on campus and in the Charleston community. Intramural sports played at the Wellness Center include indoor volleyball, indoor soccer and basketball; pick-up games in these sports are played throughout the week as well.

  • Volleyball â€“ September 8 – November 10 / Playoffs: November 17
  • Fall Casual Basketball League - September 11 - November 6 / Playoffs: November 13
  • Indoor Soccer â€“ November 21 – January 30 / Playoffs: February 6
  • 5 vs 5 Basketball â€“ February 15 – April 5 / Playoffs: April 12
  • Flag Football â€“ Playing in the Charleston Sports and Social Club League – Games start mid-October

Intramural Sports Roster

Do not use this form for flag football

Competitive and recreational leagues are offered in each sport, and teams may roster players in both leagues. The competitive league has no restriction on who can be on the court/field during play while the recreational league requires a minimum number of females on the court/field at all times. More details regarding eligibility and player information can be found below.

Don't have a team but want to play? Sign up as a free agent by emailing intramurals@musc.edu and letting us know which sport and league you would like to participate.
